Wendell G Rogers

Wendell G Rogers, 61 of Sandy Creek passed away at his home Monday evening January 30, 2023 surrounded by his loving wife, family and long time friend after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. If you had the privilege of meeting Wendell you weren’t just a friend you were a life long friend of his and if you knew him you couldn’t help but like/love him.

Wendell enjoyed spending time with his wife, dogs, family and hanging out with his friends in his “shop” and not necessarily in that order. He loved any old Chevy on the road and could tell you exactly the make, model and year before you had a chance to see it go by.

Hobbies included Hunting, Fishing and Keystone Light and you couldn’t fix it you knew who to call and if you needed a welding job done right Wendell was your man.

Wendell loved his wife and they had a wonderful life together.

Wendell was predeceased by his parents Harold and Shirley and sister Veronica.

Wendell is survived by his wife Colleen (Kitty), daughter Jessica (Christopher) Kalynycz and her two brothers, two step daughters Heather and Andrea Caufield, sisters Patricia (Al) Gibbs, Janice and LouAnne, brothers Donald (Penny), Harold Jr. and Patrick (Dana). Father and Mother-in-Law William and Virginia Teller who he loved with all his heart. Twelve grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Per Wendell’s request there will be no services.

Wendell will be sorely missed by his family and many, many friends.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
