Obituary

Shirley A Lortie, 95 of Lacona passed away January 27, 2020 at Colonial Park Nursing Home in Rome, NY.

Shirley was born January 15, 1925 in Sandy Creek to George W and Austie O (Thompson) Mizener. She was a graduate of Sandy Creek High School in 1943. She married George Fox in 1947. That marriage ended in divorce. She married Roger Lortie in 1970, he passed in 1999. Shirley had worked several places over her career and retired from Blount Lumber Company.

Surviving are her 5 children; Linda Conger, Diane (Harry) Watson, Pat (Brad) Stevens, George (Eileen) Fox, Rebecca (David) Lizotte, Many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Gene, Keith and Laverne.

Calling Hours will be Friday January 31st from 3-5pm at Summerville Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service in the spring at Woodlawn Cemetery, Sandy Creek.

Donations may be made in her honor to Cable Trail VFW Post 8534, 10 Cable Trail, Lacona, NY 13083.
