Shirley Eva (Gregory) Killam passed away Tuesday January 30, 2024 at Seneca Manor two
days after the passing of her husband Fred.
Shirley was born June 11, 1928. Shirley was born
in Pulaski and attended school at the One Room School House. While in school she began
riding horses with the Barclay family. That was one of her greatest joys, that she often told her
great grandchildren all of those memories. She passed the love of horses to all of them. Shirley
married the love of her life April 23, 1947. They had a bond like no other, it was a true testament
that they had seventy-six years of marriage together. They raised their family in a home that
was built by them. Shirley was a hairdresser, an amazing one at that. She was such a blessing
to all that knew her, she loved to bake, cook, her biggest joy was her only Grandson and being a
Great Grandma. She loved to make sure everyone was fed right up to her last moments. She
was strong willed and a heart of gold. As a family we are at peace that Grandma and Grandpa
have each other in heaven. As we will do our best to carry on the legacy they left us.
She was predeceased by her Parents Levi (Merton) & Leah Mae (Dawley)Gregory. Brothers:
Merton, George and Gordon Gregory. Sister Alma Wilson. And her daughter Margret
