Rose Marie (Paryzch) Driscoll 92 passed away Friday, July 31, 2020 of natural causes at Crouse Erving Memorial Hospital in Syracuse, NY. She was born June 23, 1928, in Syracuse, to the late Anthony and Margret Parzych. Rose Marie was predeceased by her husband of 50+ years, Thomas Driscoll, Sr., her daughter Katherine Umland and brother Richard Parzych.
Left to honor her memory are her Sons: Thomas Driscoll, Jr., Daniel Driscoll, her Daughter: Diane Wagner, Grandchildren: Naomi and Sarah Umland, Kimberly, Michael and Maureen Driscoll, Gabrielle and Grace Wagner, and many nieces and nephews.
Rose Marie and Thomas Sr. established Toro Dental Lab in Syracuse, eventually moving their business to Sandy Creek, NY where they became long term residents and established a Fishing/Skiing lodge under the name of All Seasons Lodge. Rose Marie was a long time member and treasurer of the Winona Forest Recreation Association, supporting the efforts of the organization to develop tourism and take advantage of the local resources. She loved the outdoors and spent many a day hunting, fishing and camping with the family on their property in the Tug Hill. Rose Marie was a Girl Scout leader and a lover of Frank Sinatra. In her final years she was a resident of the Springbrook apartments in Pulaski, NY.
Rose Marie had fully intended to donate her remains to the teaching hospital at Upstate Medical Center / Syracuse University, however the University has denied the bequest due to the current COVID pandemic. Donations can be made to Winona Forest Recreation Association, Inc.
