Richard E Rogers

We are sad to announce the passing of Richard “ Rick” Rogers of Oswego, NY. Rick passed away at the age of 60 with his loving wife by his side. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile. Throughout it all Rick was strong and faced every tough moment head on.
In true Rick fashion he joked about his ups and downs, and said his “good looking nurses kept him going”
Rick is survived by his wife Lindaann. His children, Nicole (Christian) Card and Matthew (Kelly McNitt) Rogers, his grandchildren, Catherine and James , who he adored, his father, Earl Rogers, and the following siblings, Randy and Sherry Rogers, Brian and Crystal Rogers, and Becky (Gorden) Brown, nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.

Rick is predeceased by his mother Lucille, and his nephew Christopher.

Calling hours will be held at Summerville Funeral Home on November 11th, 2022 from 3-5 followed by the funeral on November 12th at 11am. The funeral is open to friends and family. Rick would have wanted you all there. A reception will be held at the Lacona Fire Department immediately following the funeral.
