Born December 20, 1965 in Alexandria Bay, NY to Richard and Stacey (Bullard) Plantz, Sr. Ricky grew up in Burrville where he developed a love of anything with a motor. Starting at a young age he was very motivated to become a business owner and did become owner operator of Plantz Trucking. Known for a huge loving heart, Rick was a motivator to many many people, from teaching his own daughters and granddaughter to drive and helping several folfs obtain their CDL license.
He enjoyed boating on the St Lawrence River, motocross, dirt bikes, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling, camping, bonfires, “shootouts”, long drives on county roads and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves behind his companion of 13 years Deborah (Debbie Jean) Hilton and their fur babies, his daughters Kaitlin Plantz of Brownville and Hanna Plantz (Anthony) of Waterown, sons of his heart Kyle Bellinger (Michelle) of Carthage, Jonathan Hilton (Tiffany) of Pulaski, Tyler Hilton (Chante) of Hastings, 6 grandchildren; Sophie, Bradyn, Sterling, Willow, Archer and Adeline. Sisters Darice Hayward of Chaumont, Shannon and Dave Cummins of Florida and several nieces nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Stacey Plantz, Sr.
A Celebration of Life and a convoy is planned for Sunday September 14th in Carthage.
