Richard C Locke, 82 of Sandy Creek passed away August 20, 2021 at Albany Medical Center.
Richard was born December 23, 1938 in Syracuse, NY to Charles and Verda (Mueller) Locke. Richard worked in maintenance at the Lincoln Building in Watertown. He married Jane Butler September 18, 1977 at Emmanuel Congregational Church in Watertown.
Richard was an antique and classic car enthusiast and owned, traded and worked on many over the years. He also attended cars shows and cruise ins. Richard was known as being “Lost in the 50’s”, and owned a juke box, pinball machine and loved anything from the fifties. He also refinished antique furniture with his wife Jane.
Surviving are his wife Jane, Children; Sarah (Matthew) Whaley and Shawn, Beth Wright, Plattsburgh and Danielle Robbins, Lowville; grandchildren Matthew Paul, Tristan, two sisters Jane (John Trendt, MI, Kathy (John) King, MA. Niece Sue Bigness, Harrisville. He was predeceased by his parents and sister Louella Fitch.
Calling Hours will be Friday August 27th from 4-6pm followed by a Funeral Service, 6pm at the funeral home. Masks and social distancing will be required.
Donations may be made in his honor to United Wesleyan Church, Sandy Creek.
