Martha J (Haggerty) Dodd

Martha Dodd (Haggerty) passed away on November 25, 2022 following a brief illness, while surrounded by her daughters, sisters, and granddaughter. Born October 10, 1942, Martha was the daughter of Orville and Angie Haggerty of Mannsville, NY. Martha had a zest for life that took her on many adventures across the country, back, and beyond. She had a love for country dancing, karaoke, spending time with her sisters, friends and her family. She is survived by her twin sister Margaret Alcock and her sister Linda Lane, her daughters Lisa (John) Hawkins, Holly (Pat) Kelly, Cheri (Dave) Lass, and Karla (Mark) Roberts-Petrie. Her grandchildren- who she loved dearly include: Emily and Colin Hawkins, Paul and Brittany Kelly (Warchol), Tyler, Mikayla, Makenzie and Jared Petrie, Alex and Andrew Lass. Her great-grandchildren: Jamison, Savannah, and Maria Warchol brought her much joy. She is pre-deceased by her siblings Stanley Haggerty, Katherine Wilcox, Richard Haggerty, and her second husband Richard Dodd. A celebration of her life will follow at a later date. It is Martha’s request that any donations in her memory and in lieu of flowers be made to the United Friends of Homeless Animals in Richland, NY, 432 Centerville Road, Richland, NY 13144.
