Marion I (Sprague) Salisbury

Marion I. Salisbury, 79, of Lacona, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2025, at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 24, 1945, in Syracuse, she was one of nine children of the late John and Leona (Buck) Sprague

. On October 20, 1962, Marion married the love of her life, Kenneth Salisbury. Together, they shared 63 wonderful years of marriage filled with devotion, laughter, and cherished memories.

Marion enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, including playing bingo, trying her luck with lottery tickets, and traveling with friends. She treasured family gatherings and especially valued time spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth; children, Kenneth Brian Salisbury, Charles Daniel Salisbury, and Laurie Paro; sister, Barbara (Don) Bauer of Oswego; brother, Robert (Donna) Lyons of Pulaski; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Summerville Funeral Home, with a funeral service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sandy Creek.
