Marguerite Tyfair Obituary

Margie Tyfair -Ma/Gram/MeMe- passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones (as well as many rushing to be by her side) on July 1, 2021.

Margie’s natural-born caretaking skill was seen early in her life- beginning with her own small brood of children (which eventually grew to 7). Her apt for nurturing extended into her life outside of the home: She served as a school nutrition technician (cafeteria lady) throughout the school systems in New York and Texas, kitchen worker and even an expert desert maker (just ask her family).  Her friendly face could be found working regularly around her community: at the 'back gate' of the Oswego County Fair, the ticket window of Bloodcreek Manor, and the Snackery in Sandy Creek.

Margie enjoyed camping, fishing and picnicking alongside her family, at any (and all) state parks. She was a master of baking, croquet and a Hallmark movie connoisseur. She loved to regularly attend services at her local Church while living in South Carolina, as well as bring her grandchildren to Sunday School. Her truest passion, though, was spending time with her family. She carried an irreplicable (and irreplaceable) love for her Children, Grandchildren & Great Grand Babies (especiallly her “Little Princess" Kairi, "Prince" Domino, "President" Henry, and "Precious" Paisy).

Margie’s memory will be forever cherished and live on with those that survive her:

Her husband, Robert Tyfair.  Siblings; Stuart (Sandy), Kathy and Pat.

Her Children; Tre, Andy (Dena), Mikey (Ginger), Melissa (Cliff), September (Mark), Rene (Bill) and Bobby.

Her very special Manda Mary Howlett (Cory)

Several Nieces, Nephews, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and many others found on her journey through life.

Calling Hours, followed by a brief ceremony at 7pm will be held Thursday, July 8th beginning at 4pm.  All are welcome to attend.
