Margaret I Barber, 80 of Lacona, NY passed away Saturday June 3, 2023 at The Nottingham in Jamesville, NY.

Margaret was born August 5, 1942 in Carthage, NY to Francis Percy and Dorothy (Wright Percy) Gorman. She was a graduate of the Powelson Business Institute in Syracuse. She worked at various locations over the years. Margaret was a member at Park United Methodist Church in Pulaski, a former Sandy Creek School Board member and volunteered for many organizations.

Surviving is 4 children; Joanne (Timothy) Shelmidine, Robert Norton, Yvonne (David) Maddex, Kimberly (Karl) Shelmidine, 4 grandchildren; Timothy Clark, Danielle Maddex, Kyle Shelmidine, Joshua Shelmidine, 2 great Grandchildren; Clayton Clark, Jackson Shelmidine, siblings; Maureen Lawton, Darren Gorman. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother Thomas Gorman.
