Laurie A West

Laurie Anne West, 58 of Whitesboro passed away at St Luke’s Hospital in Utica Tuesday February 1, 2022.

Laurie was born on July 6, 1963. She attended and graduated from Sandy Creek Central School and went on to earn her Masters Degree in Social work.  Laurie worked as a social worker for Utica City Schools.

She was married and later divorced.

Laurie liked shopping, swimming in her pool, cats, Sudoku puzzles and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her brother Stephen Naklick and sister-in-law Diona, niece Deziah (Richard) Irby, nephew Silas Naklick, great nephews Tripp, Landon and Gideon Irby. Her parents Henry and Nancy Naklick died before her.

A Graveside Service will be planned in the spring at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sandy Creek.
