Judith K Green, 84 of Lacona, NY passed away April 16, 2026 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, NY.

Judy was born in Lyons, NY June 8, 1941 a daughter of Beach and Rhea (White) Northrop. She grew up in Red Creek, NY graduating High School in 1960. She married Robert J. Green October 30, 1960 and moved to Lacona to become bookkeeper at Ribstone Silo of New York, the partnership business Robert and his father started after he graduated from college in the fall of 1959. In 1973 they bought out the partnership for his father to retire.

Because of her passion for drawing, design and decorating, they built their first home from her plans in 1963. Then the idea to buy and renovate homes by drawing floor plans for rental apartments, number of 4, all were rented upon completion, she then saw a need for storage, hence they built the first B&G Mini Storages , number of 3, in the area done in 1984.She became known for her projects and never at a loss for ideas, she saw a need for people wanting to downsize their home and at a modest price opened “Green Haven Quality Homes” a manufactured home dealership in 1985. By request a need for a nice “Park” so Green Haven Community” was built, this was the last project and (5) businesses complete! In 2000 they retired after 40 years self employed to winter in Florida.

Judith was predeceased by her mother Rhea in 1984 her father Beach in 1992, her sister Rhea McIntyre, her daughter Linda Lee Green Fisher in 2003 and her husband Robert in 2014.

Her survivors are a son Gregory (Rhonda) Green of Lacona, four grandchildren, Stephanie Diaz, Dustin (Morgann) Green, James Green, Kaylee Fisher great grandchildren Riley Diaz , Tucker and Mackenzie Green.

Active in PTA thru the 70’s. always active in design of furniture and decorating for herself and many others. After 10 of retirement at 69 she designed and painted a canvas for each grandchild personally to each with love!

A Graveside Service will be held at the Pulaski Village Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
