John "Jack" Francher, 73, passed peacefully at his home of 48 years on Sunday, June 7th.

Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who brought kindness, generosity, and plenty of laughter to everyone around him. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time in nature, especially at Sandy Pond, whether he was taking part in his favorite sports or sharing those experiences with family and friends. He loved the New England Patriots for over 50 years.

Jack loved his family, and cared deeply for the people closest to him. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Francher; his daughter, Krista Manchester; his sons, Jason Francher and Jesse Francher; along with his 4 grandchildren, Joshua Kachurak, Olivia Manchester, Jonas Manchester, and Scarlett Francher. He is survived by his sisters, Joann Rao of Camillus, Linda Cotroneo of Baldwinsville, and Marian Francher of Syracuse. Jack was also fortunate to have many close friends and relatives, including Marcia and Jack LaManna and Linda and Roger Burch.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nancy Francher of Camillus, his brother-in-laws Billy Sandner of Spring Hill, FL, and Mike Rao of Camillus. Jack worked hard throughout his life at Allied Chemical, Felix Schoeller Paper and Loretto Health Care.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jack's life on Sunday, July 26th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Sandy Pond Sportsman Club. He was a member there for almost 50 years! Anyone, who knew and loved Jack, is welcome to come together, share stories, and remember a man who meant so much to so many.

While Jack may no longer be with us, the love, friendship, laughter, and memories he shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be greatly missed and always remembered.
