John A Taylor

John A. Taylor, 64 of Lacona, passed away Thursday October 24, 2024 at home.

John was born Feb 27, 1960 in Oswego. He retired in 2022. Prior to his retirement he was employed at JPW, CDM and many other places. Too many to list. He helped build The Carousel Mall, and cleaned anthrax from The Heart Senate Building. He also built houses with his brother. He knew a little about everything from auto's to wiring. If you needed something done, John could do it. He enjoyed working.

He is survived by his companion Suzanne Cumber of 37 years. His sons Gregory and Patrick Taylor. Stepsons William King, Frank Cumber and many grandchildren. His brothers Timothy, Norman (Elizabeth), Gene (Lainie), Michael (Cindy) William (Linda),James, Floyd( Joyce), Charles Taylor. And many nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be Saturday November 2, 2024 from 12-2pm at Summerville Funeral Home.
