Obituary
John S. ”Big John” McNard, 68 of Orwell passed away at his home Friday May 27, 2022.
John was born January 26, 1954 in Syracuse to Walter J and Mildred (Marsha) McNard. John held many general labor positions for several companies. He worked as a ride stager for carnivals, a cook in a local soup kitchen, and transported food for Catholic Charities Food Pantry. John enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He was always willing to help anyone who asked.
Surviving is a sister Helen Diamond, a niece Sherry (James) Williamson. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother-in-law Robert Diamond.
Calling Hours will be held Wednesday June 1st from 6pm to 8pm at Unity Acres Chapel. A funeral Service will be Thursday at Unity Acres Chapel at 11:00am.
