Eugene E Ackerman

Eugene E Ackerman, 87 of Lacona, passed away unexpectedly at his home Wednesday May 12, 2021.

Eugene was born January 17, 1934 in Boylston, NY to Guy E and Bernice (Tyfair) Ackerman. He attended Pulaski Schools. He married Cecelia Forbes December 20, 1952. Eugene was an Operating Engineer for Union Local 158 and retired in 1989.

Eugene was an avid horseman and trader. He was a member of Harmony Riders in Parish, Northern Blue Jays Motorcycle Club and wintered in Florida.

Surviving are his children; Becky Greenwood, Eugene (Valerie) Ackerman, Leon Ackerman, Aretha (Roger) Manchester and Daniel Ackerman, 2 sisters Jeanette Bragman and Sue (Dick) Barden and a brother Dean Ackerman, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many friends. He was predeceased by his wife Cecelia.

There are no calling hours or funeral. Donations may be made in his honor to Harmony Riders, Show Committee PO Box 527, Parish, NY 13131.
