Elaine VanRy Obituary

Elaine J. (Lester) VanRy, 73 of Orwell, NY passed away October 6, 2025 at home with her family.

Born August 23 1952 in Oswego, NY to Allen and Fern Lester. She was a graduate of Sandy Creek Central School and Bryant and Stratton College. She drove tractor trailers with her husband for 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 55 years, Warren VanRy, her daughter Deborah (VanRy) Porter, son in law Eric Porter and grandson Wyatt Porter, siblings; Allen Lester, Elizabeth Whitcomb and Ellie Manwaring, niece Heather Manwaring and nephew Zachary Manwaring.
