Donald M Helbock

Donald M Helbock, 85 of Mexico passed away Friday May 13, 2022 at St Luke’s in Oswego.

Donald was born October 30, 1936 in Boylston, NY to John and Alice (Yerdon) Helbock. He attended Sandy Creek School. Donald married Sandra Sparks January 5, 1961 in Sandy Creek.

Donald had worked at Carrier and Kodak for a time and retired in 1997 from NYS DOT in Mexico. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving is his wife Sandra, a daughter Becky McLaughlin and a son Rolon Helbock, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be Thursday May 19th from 12-2pm with the Funeral Service at 2pm at Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek. Burial will be at Boylston Sandy Creek Cemetery.

Donations may be made in his honor to Alzheimer’s Association.
