Donald Bielewicz Obituary

Donald E. Bielewicz, Oswego, passed away Monday June 12, 2023, with his
Cornbread farm girls by his side. He was 68. Donald was a lifelong resident of
Richland NY, even if he lived somewhere else Richland was home in his eyes.
He died as he liked to live — while flirting with nurses and visiting with family
making everyone laugh hysterically all day long. He sang a song, and passed
before he got a chance to finish it.
He was born to Edward Bielewicz and Mary (Tilkins) Bielewicz on February
22, 1955, in Watertown NY. Donald was a wonderful father, grampa, pops,
brother, Chief, cousin, uncle and friend. He will be missed by so many.
Donald held many jobs in his life, but his favorites were Driving the garbage
trucks for waste management and being Chief of the Richland Fire
Department (51 years), he even spent some time in the US Navy reserves.
Donald was strong-willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous
heart and wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal, and brave. He
was clever and full to the brim with knowledge gained through all his life
experiences. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his
friends and family. He truly loved each of them- and if you knew him, you
knew it. Donald leaves behind his partner Maggie Seeley (Oswego), His two
daughters Amy (Steve) Clark (Mexico), Natasha (CJ) Baker (Sandy Creek),
One son Matthew Shaw (Oswego), and one stepson Brandon (Nicole) Shaw
(Liverpool). Grandchildren: Jazmyn, Alex, Ashley, Derrick, Tameka, Kristofer,
Aleigha, Joshua, Kayla, Landon, Declan, Vivienne. His Sister Lori (Bill) Lillie of
Lacona, Mike (Rosemary) Bielewicz of Lacona, and Patrick (Heidi) Bielewicz
of Texas. Donald had too many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews,
cousins, and friends to be listed.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Mary Bielewicz, his
brother Eddie Bielewicz, His Sister and Brother-in-law Susan and Duff
Mowers, His two Daughters Julie Jessmore-Fish, and Tami Jessmore, two
grandchildren Gabriel and Walter Baker, as well as many loved and cherished
friends and extended family members.
