Dennis C Mothersell

Dennis Mothersell, 81, formerly of Redfield, died peacefully at his home in Lacona on June 18, 2023.

Dennis was born October 13, 1941 in Watertown, NY to Roswell P and Mildred (LeMora) Mothersell. He worked for Larabee Wire in Williamstown, NY, Camden Wire in Camden, NY and was Highway Superintendent in Redfield. After retiring from Camden Wire, he worked part time for the Redfield Highway Department and Mothersell’s Heating and Plumbing. He also worked for Lloyd Bumpus logging. Dennis was a member of the Redfield Fire Department and loved hunting, fishing, camping and boating.

Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Roswell and Mildred, his brothers Roswell, Paul, William, Robert, David and sisters Barbara and Marjorie.

Surviving is his wife Bethel Mothersell, a son Micky (Heidi) Mothersell of Mississippi, 2 step sons Ralph (Megan Rexford) Fox, Bradley Fox of Redfield, 2 daughters, Amy (Jeff) Dunsmoor, Ann (Terry) Hunter a brother Robert, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Redfield Fire Department July 15, 2023 at 1pm, a Graveside Service for family only at the Redfield Village Cemetery and a luncheon at the Fire Department following the grave side service.
