David F McCloskey

David F McCloskey, 84, of Sandy Creek passed away Saturday January 20, 2018 at St. Luke’s Nursing Home in Oswego.  

Born in Oswego, Mr. McCloskey previously lived in Oswego before moving to Sandy Creek.

He graduated from Oswego High School and attended State University College at Oswego from 1956-1959. He served in the US Army, 11th Airborne Division from 1953-1955. Mr. McCloskey served as a Purchasing Agent for several companies in the Oswego area. He and his wife Jeanne owned and operated an antique shop in Sandy Creek.

Surviving are a daughter Nancy Oleyourryk of Scriba, a son David J of Sandy Creek, 4 grandchildren, 2 brothers Jack of Syracuse and Kenneth of Lakeport. He was predeceased by his wife Jeanne in 2016.

There are no Calling Hours. Services are private at the convenience of the family.
