Charles Robert Bremm

Charles Robert Bremm, 86 of Lacona passed away October 9, 2025 at Bishop Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Syracuse.

Charles was born September 13, 1939 in Albany, NY to Joseph A and Rose T (Swinegar) Bremm. He attended school in Albany and later graduated from Sandy Creek Central School. Charles served in the United States Navy from 1956-1960. He married Sharon Brennan in 1966 at St Francis Church in Lacona. Their marriage ended in divorce in 1983. Charles was a member of the Sheet Metal Union and worked at Carrier Corporation in Syracuse for 35 years and retired in 1999. Charles was a true woodsman and enjoyed woodcutting. Charlie loved telling stories (some rather tall) and was a good joke teller.

Surviving are his son Timothy Bremm of Arizona, his brothers Joseph (Lesley) Bremm, Donald (Sharon) of California and Thomas (Carla) Bremm of Lacona and many nephews, nieces and friends.

Charles was predeceased by his parents Rose and Joseph, , his son Matthew Bremm and brothers Paul Bremm and Kenneth Bremm and his longtime companion Aleata M Leete.

Service is planned at the North Country Christian Church on November 13th at 11:00.
