Barbara G (MacBride) Fallows

Barbara G Fallows, 81, Pulaski and formerly of Boylston passed away Friday August 16, 2024 at University Hospital in Syracuse, NY.

Barbara was born January 15, 1943 in Rochester, NY to Gordon and Alice (Palmateer) MacBride. She was a graduate of Webster High School in 1960. Barbara married Robert Fallows August 12, 1961 in Rochester. She was a Customer Service Agent at the Post Standard in Syracuse and had also worked at Blount Lumber Company in Lacona. Barb was a member of the Sandy Creek United Methodist Church, the Coterie Club and the Red Hat Society. She volunteered at the Friendship Shop. She enjoyed BINGO, a good board or card game, and watching her grandchildren play sports. She was a great cook and loved to bake. She also loved to travel and took some great trips across the U.S. including an extended trip to Alaska. She overcame tremendous odds after her accident five years ago. She valued her independence and everything that everyone did for and with her.

Surviving are her children Kim (Scott) Wolff, Scott (Sophie) Fallows, Matt (Jessica) Fallows, Jeff (Crystal) Fallows, two brothers Dave (Marilyn) MacBride and Lloyd (Soni) MacBride, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert in 2017.

Calling Hours will be Friday August 23 from 1-3 pm with the Memorial Service at 3pm at Summerville Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Boylston / Sandy Creek Cemetery.

Donations may be made in her name to the Friendship Shop in Sandy Creek.
