Barbara L (Babcock) Darling

Barbara L Darling, 77 of Redfield passed away Sunday December 24, 2023 at University Hospital in Syracuse.

Calling Hours will be Friday December 29, 2023 from 4-7pm at Summerville Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Saturday 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Redfield Village Cemetery.

Barbara was born August 6, 1946 in Orwell, NY to Hildreth and Alice (Monteith) Babcock. She was a graduate of Sandy Creek Central School. Barbara married George Darling July 29, 1967. Barbara worked at Omega Wire in Camden retiring in 2012. Barbara was a member of the Redfield Fire Dept. and Auxiliary. She loved selling tickets for the fire dept. and camping.

Surviving is her children Tim and Kim, George II and Chere, Wendy and Richard, Rob and Kim (Dale), 21 grand children, 13 great grandchildren a sister Carol Britton, 3 brothers, Alan and Sharon Babcock, Steve and Jody Babcock, Gene and Debbie Babcock and many nieces nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband George and 3 sisters Bertha, Alice and Liz.
