Babette M (Harvey) Hall Obituary

Babette M. Hall, 67, a lifelong resident of Jefferson County, passed away on June 12, 2026, at the home of her daughter in Fulton, New York.

Babette was born on July 13, 1958, in Pierrepont Manor, New York, to Robert F. and Phyllis (Hunt) Harvey. Throughout her life, Babette held many roles and touched countless lives. She worked as a school-bus driver, bank teller, licensed cosmetologist and aesthetician, wedding decorator, and dedicated more than twenty years of service to Jefferson County, retiring as the Jefferson County Elections Commissioner.

She is survived by her fiancé, Don Schnauber of Clayton; her daughter, Lauren Doyle of Fulton, and granddaughter’s Kaleigh (Curtis), Keara (Evan), and grandson Karrick; her son, Daniel Hall, and daughter-in-law, Tiffany, of Mexico, New York, and granddaughters Chloe, Evelyn, and Alexandria. She is also survived by her sisters, Jane Patterson of Sandy Creek and Bellanne (Norm) Draper of Constantia; her brothers, Frederick “Bobby” (Valerie) Harvey of Hastings, Bernie (MaryJane) Harvey of Carthage, and Benny (Sharon) Harvey of Medford, Oregon; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Phyllis Harvey and her niece Brianna Harvey.

Babette embraced life with a sense of adventure and a love for making memories with those she loved. She enjoyed spending time at her winter home in Mount Dora, Florida, riding her Harley-Davidson, and cruising the St. Lawrence River on her pontoon boat. She loved music, especially playing the guitar and singing with family and friends.

Of all the roles she held throughout her life, being “Gramma” was the one she treasured most. She took great pride in her grandchildren and found immense joy in every moment spent with them. Whether sharing stories, laughter, advice, or simply her time, she created lasting memories that will be cherished forever by Keara, Kaleigh, Karrick, Chloe, Evelyn, and Alexandria. Babette will be remembered for her strength, independence, adventurous spirit, love of music, unwavering devotion to family, and the many friendships she cultivated throughout her life. Her kindness, warmth, and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
