Annie Myrtle Deas, 90, of Richland, NY and formerly of Columbus, MS passed away on February 14, 2022 with family by her side.
She was born on February 14, 1932 in Columbus, Mississippi to the late W. H. Barnes and Annie Bell Guyton Barnes. She was married for 62 years to Cecil Mack Deas and together raised a family of three children. Myrtle was active in her church and served as a Sunday School teacher for most of her adult years. She owned and operated her own bakery and catering business, Deas Dainties, for 10 years and continued to make beautiful cakes for many years after.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Cecil, her parents and her sister, Mildred.
She is survived by her children Bonnie (Karl) Novak, Mack (Sandra) Deas, Lori (Jerry) Hewell, seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
