Robert Hamilton, 93 of Pulaski, passed away Monday February 27, 2017 at Samaritan Medical Center.

Mr. Hamilton was born August 8, 1923 in Staten Island, NY to Robert T and Wilhemina (Ficke) Hamilton. After graduating from High School he trained to be an aircraft mechanic. He became a Flight Engineer and worked for American Airlines until he retired in 1985. He married Barbara Carris April 11, 1953 in Rochester, NY.

Mr. Hamilton was a member of St James Episcopal Church in Pulaski, and was active in Masons, Scottish Right, Shriner’s, Eastern Star and York Right.

He is survived by his wife Barbara, his sister Edith Ellis, son Robert (Donna) Hamilton, daughter Joanne (Gary) Petroske, son in law John Noble, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and many friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Thomas Hamilton, daughter Gloria Noble, son Andrew Hamilton and a grandchild, Josh Haik.

Calling Hours will be Monday March 6, 2017 from 4pm-8pm at the Summerville Funeral Home. There will be a Memorial Service at 11am on March 11, 2017 at St James Episcopal Church, Pulaski and entombment at Whitehaven Memorial Park in Pittsford, NY at a later date.
