Philip Rombach Obituary

Philip D Rombach,78, of Lacona passed away July 1, 2019 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse.

Phil was born February 15, 1941 in Richland, NY to Philip J and Ina (Cornwell) Rombach. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1959. Phil married Rita G carpenter June 27, 1971 in Boylston, NY. She died January 27, 2013 at home. Phil was a fabricator / welder and retired from Church & Dwight Company in Syracuse in 2006 and also worked at Syracuse China. He was a US Navy Veteran, Member of the Half Shire Historical Society and also served on the Town of Boylston Planning Board.

Phil is survived by several cousins, a niece Jennifer Boltwood, 1 great nephew, a sister-in-law Patricia Eberle of Camillus and many friends. He was predeceased by a sister Mary Rombach in 2001.

Per Phil’s wishes there are no calling hours or funeral. There will be a private burial at Richland Cemetery.
