Kenneth E Lindsey

On Saturday October 20, Kenneth Lindsey (Kenny), loving husband and Dad passed away at the age of 74.  Kenneth was born on August 17, 1944 in Watertown NY to E Harwood and Myrtle Lindsey. On November 23, 1968, he married Susan Fox. They raised three daughters, Kathy, Kris and Kim.

Kenneth joined the Army and served as a reservist.  He also owned Lindsey’s Body Shop for many years before working and retiring from the Teamsters Union and Onondaga County Laborers Union.  Kenneth was also active in the Lacona and Sandy Creek Fire Departments and was former Chief for the Lacona Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Susan, his three children, Kathy Worden, Kris (David) French, Kim (Scott) Colbert, his brother Wayne (Dawn) Lindsey, his sister Sally Scott, his grandchildren James French, Sabrina French, Marrissa Fuller, Alesha Frazier and Taelyr Worden and several nieces and a nephew.

Calling hours will be held on Friday October 26 from 4-6 at Summerville Funeral Home, 1997 Harwood Drive, Sandy Creek, Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Saturday October 27 at the funeral home, with a reception to follow.
