Gail A (Bubel) Pearl

Gail A Pearl, 82 of Pulaski passed away at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse Friday October 26, 2018.

Calling Hours will be Tuesday October 30th from 5-7pm with a Memorial Service at 7pm at the Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek. Burial will be 10am Thursday November 1st at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Gail was born July 6, 1936 in Rochester, NY to Henry and Geraldine (Grimshaw) Bubel. She graduated from Our Lady of Mercy, Rochester, NY in 1954.   Gail was office manager/bookkeeper at Bubel’s Marina in Sandy Pond, worked at DSS in Mexico for a time and later was Executive Assistant at Modern A/C in Clearwater, Fl retiring in 1988. She married Ernest Anderson in February 1959.

Gail was a member of Richland Christian Church, a church organist/pianist and a teacher in children and youth ministries. She also enjoyed singing in a Capella groups, Sweet Adeline’s and Red Hat Society. Gail was active in events at Springbrook Apartments.

Surviving are her son Kenneth (Julia) Anderson; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers Lawrence (Rachel Yap) Bubel; Henry (Sharon) Bubel; brother in law James Matthews and several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents and a sister Marilyn (Sis) Matthews and her husband Ernest.

Donations may be made in her honor to the Richland Christian Church.
