Fredrick W Fregoe

Fredrick “Fred” W. Fregoe age 46 of Adams passed away suddenly on April 27, 2019.

Born in Sandy Creek, NY on April 17, 1973 to parents Richard and Patricia Fregoe. Fred was a devoted Son, Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and as of December Grandfather. He was predeceased by his father Richard. Surviving are his wife Jennifer Fregoe, son Russell (Mykayla) Procko, daughter Alisha (Rick) DeVito, Ricky Fregoe, granddaughters Paisley Procko, Lilith DeVito, mother Patricia Fregoe, siblings Jon (Lisa) Derochie, Janelle Derochie Lorrie Dixon, Richard Fregoe, Cindy Fregoe, Kelly Sinden, many nieces and nephews, and lots of friends and family that loved him dearly.  

He met his wife Jennifer as a teenager, the two married on January 29, 1994 and together built a life and raised three children. They were soulmates and the loved they shared carried them through the best and worst times of their lives. Fred was always well known throughout the area as one of the best grill cooks around and had the opportunity to cook for many different people through the years at the many restaurants he worked at. He was well-known for his famous prime rib and au jous. He loved being a husband and father. He supported his three kids in everything they did and would often be heard shouting full volume at whatever sporting event or award ceremony he was attending.

Fred enjoyed many things throughout his life, including ice fishing with his sons, attending festivals with his wife, spending time with friends and family, and many other things. He enjoyed working with his hands and was a skilled carpenter. He was a lifelong fan of the NY Giants, NY Yankees, and Syracuse Basketball. He loved watching games with his family, and could always be found yelling at the TV on football Sunday. He brought laughter and joy to everyone he met, and his personality and humor left a lasting impression on everyone that knew him. He will be greatly missed by many.

There will be a memorial gathering for Fred on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 1-4pm at Ryan's Lookout in Henderson, NY to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gofundme page or be sent to 18326 Comstock Rd Adams NY 13601 to help save the home he worked so hard to provide for his family that is currently in foreclosure.
