Eileen Lobdell Obituary

Eileen Alta Corcoran Lobdell, born January 26, 1921 passed away on February 15, 2018 at age 97.

Eileen had resided in the Central New York area and moved to Sandy Creek, NY where she lived for the past 17 years.

Eileen was an Administrative Assistant for a group of Physicians at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse before her retirement. She was a member of the Sandy Creek United Methodist Church.

She was a very talented opera singer and was part of the Syracuse Opera for approximately 10 years. She was very proud that she sang on the radio during her time with the opera.

Eileen was very passionate about ensuring people were fed if possible, no matter how little. Please in Eileen’s remembrance donate to the Sandy Creek Food Pantry, located on Main St in Sandy Creek.

There are no services at this time, burial will be in the spring.

Arrangements are with Summerville Funeral Home.
