Catherine Stewart Brown, 61 of Adams, passed away at Samaritan Medical Center on Tuesday October 23rd with her loving daughter at her bedside. She was born January 16, 1957 in Watertown to the late Robert and Cynthia (Nuspliger) Moore. She graduated from South Jefferson Central School, class of 1975.

Shortly after high school, Catherine worked for Yellow Cab in Watertown as a cab driver. The skills learned though this job made her the go to as the family GPS. The majority of her working career though was through Jefferson Rehabilitation Center where she primarily worked at the house in Sackets Harbor. Here she made wonderful, lasting friendships with both the staff and the individuals that resided there that remained strong even after her retirement in 2009.

Outside of her career she enjoyed reading, quilting, photography, writing and was proud to be a long time member of the grammar police. She adored and was adored by her children and was considered to be the "mother hen" of the family.
