Joan Marie Mistersaro, known fondly as Joan Brown, aged 77, from Adams Center, NY, concluded her journey on this earth on March 1, 2024, at Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse, New York. Born on April 16, 1946, in Watertown, NY, she wove a rich tapestry of life that touched many. Her legacy continues through her devoted husband of 57 years, Michael; her sons, Marc and Joseph, along with Joseph's wife, Kimberly; and her cherished grandchildren, Kelsey, her husband Wilson, Marcus, and Natalie. Joan steps into the next chapter leaving behind the memories she shared with her late parents, Kenneth and Cecilia Brown; her son, Michael; her sisters, Nicolina Goutermount and Barbara Lockman; and her brothers, Edley and Richard Brown. A proud alumna of Watertown High School, Joan's spirit and resilience will be remembered. Joan's memory will be eternally treasured by those who were fortunate to know and love her. We find solace in knowing she rests in peace.
