Brian K Groff, Sr

Brian Groff Sr. 63, of Mannsville, NY lost his fight to cancer on February 7th, 2024. Brian was born in Watertown. He grew up in the Ellisburg/Mannsville area & attended Belleville School.

He worked for Charles Brown Construction in Mannsville, laying phone cable. He also worked for RM Buck Construction in Adams when they were putting up new houses on Wright Street. Later he was self-employed doing firewood, fence posts, scrapping, & mechanic work.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, BBQing, 4-wheeling, hanging out with friends, family time, & going for many rides by himself or with his family in "OLD BLUE", his 1972 Ford Truck.

He married Robin Castor on January 25, 1992.

He is survived by his wife Robin (Mannsville), 3 sons & a daughter in law Brian Groff Jr. & Breanna (Oswego, NY) Troy Groff & Devan Groff ( both of Mannsville). 2 granddaughtersSophia & Braelynn Groff (Oswego,NY) He is also survived by 5 sisters Donna (Charlie) Young - Brenda Hall Ros (Tim) Redden Cindy Kingsley Karen (Rick) Remington Along with many nieces & nephews & Great nieces & nephews

He is predeceased by his grandparents, his parents Robert Groff, Sr. & Jeanette (Dealing) Groff. His brother Robert Groff, Jr. & 2 sisters Terri Briggs & Della Loomis.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, February 13th from 4-6 pm at the Ellisburg Fire Hall.
